Dr. Jean began her healthcare experience as a pediatric nurse.  The holistic nature of oriental medicine drew Jean toward her current practice.  She holds a Doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as well as a Nurse Practitioner Masters degree, enabling her to look at the client’s complete healthcare profile.  Jean’s work with children enhances her ability to provide gentle acupuncture treatments (a bonus for those with needle issues).  In addition to her private practice, Jean is a clinical supervisor for Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine acupuncture interns. Her clinical supervision includes UCLA student health clinic and Venice Family Clinic.  She is also a published author in nursing and oriental medicine.
